Kandara MP Alice Wahome has revealed that the Mt Kenya Region will never vote for Raila saying that he is unacceptable in that region.
The legislator went on to add that Deputy President William Ruto will get massive backing by the area residents.
She said that Ruto will take the largest share home in the next general elections from the vote rich region which has close to 6 million voters.
Speaking to a local daily, Wahome said that William will get 85-90 percent of the votes stating that ODM Party leader, Raila Odinga is a hard sell in the region has.
“Raila is unacceptable to the people of Mt Kenya region. As it stands at the moment in the race to succeed Uhuru in 2022, DP Ruto has 85-95 percent of Mt Kenya votes,” Wahome said.
She however went on to welcome Raila and other leaders to Mt Kenya.
