President William Ruto’s long-time aide Farouk Kibet has warmed the hearts of many Kenyans after surprising a woman in Malava with KSh10,000 in cash.
The generous gesture was captured in an undated video that has recently gone viral online, showing the emotional moment the woman met Farouk during his visit to the area.
In the clip, the excited mother—carrying her young child—approaches Farouk and informs him that she named her baby after him. She also showered him with praises, prompting smiles and laughter from those around.
At one point, she hands the baby to Farouk Kibet, urging nearby residents to take photos of them together, clearly thrilled by the encounter.
Impressed by her admiration and touched by the gesture of naming her child after him, Farouk immediately instructs one of his assistants to give the woman KSh10,000.
