Huddah Monroe: From A Poor Kienyeji in the Streets of Eastleigh to A Millionaire

Huddah Monroe, born Alhudah Njoroge in 1991, is a prominent Kenyan socialite who has risen from humble beginnings to become a millionaire living a life of luxury. Despite her current success, her journey to wealth and fame was far from easy.

Half Somali and half Gikuyu, Huddah grew up in the bustling neighborhood of Eastleigh, Nairobi. Her early life was marred by tragedy, as she lost her father at a young age. Her mother remarried, but the relationship brought hardship, as her stepfather subjected her to abuse, eventually leading her to leave home. Huddah spent her formative years living with her four stepbrothers.

After completing her primary education, Huddah attended various schools, but struggled with truancy, which led to her eventual expulsion. Nevertheless, she persevered and eventually earned a diploma in programming.

Huddah has been open about her past, including her bisexuality, which she has since moved past, and her struggles with substance abuse that led her to seek rehabilitation. Her breakthrough moment came in 2014, when she represented Kenya on the Big Brother Africa reality show, where she gained international recognition, even though she did not win.

Her career in entertainment took off when she worked as a vixen for Calif Records, appearing in numerous music videos. This exposure helped her land modelling opportunities with major brands, allowing her to build a solid financial foundation. With her earnings, Huddah invested wisely and established herself as a strong personal brand, earning income from club appearances and modelling engagements.

Capitalizing on her fame and fortune, Huddah ventured into the beauty industry, launching Huddah Cosmetics. The brand, which offers products such as fertility tea, vaginal sticks, and beauty products, has quickly become one of the top five cosmetic brands in Africa, enjoying international acclaim.

Today, Huddah enjoys the fruits of her labor, owning a fleet of luxury cars, including two Range Rovers, an Audi, and a Mercedes. She resides in a stylishly furnished apartment in Nairobi and continues to make money through club appearances. However, despite her glamorous lifestyle, Huddah’s success is a testament to the struggles and resilience that have defined her journey.
