Helpless Woman, Who Went Looking for Her Son for Days, Ends Up Finding His Body Decomposing in a Garbage Pit

In a tragic and heart-wrenching turn of events, Nancy Sifuna and her husband find themselves in mourning over the loss of their beloved toddler son, Brandon Maliba. The devastating discovery of Brandon’s lifeless body occurred four days after he went missing, marking a sorrowful end to the family’s desperate search.

The unfortunate incident unfolded when four-year-old Brandon was last seen playing with friends near his residence in Tuala on December 20. Filled with concern for her son’s whereabouts, Nancy turned to social media, sharing his photos and pleading for assistance from the Kenyan community in the hopes of locating him.

Regrettably, the distressing search for Brandon concluded on December 24 when his decomposing body was found in a garbage pit. Despite the harrowing state of the body, including visible signs of decay and a deformed face, Nancy managed to positively identify her son by the familiar clothes he was wearing.

Amidst the overwhelming grief, Nancy expressed a horrifying suspicion that Brandon might have been strangled, pointing to evident signs on his body. In a heartfelt plea to the public, she disclosed the family’s financial hardships, revealing their inability to cover the KSh 15,000 required for the postmortem examination.

“We are currently facing financial difficulties and have been asked for KSh 15,000 for the postmortem, which we are struggling to raise. Additionally, there is the need to prepare for transporting the body to Kitale for burial. I implore fellow Kenyans to come to our aid,” she conveyed to Tuko in an emotional appeal.

To facilitate support, two contact numbers (0703516116 or 0702728510) were provided, and a WhatsApp group was established to coordinate collective efforts for Brandon’s final farewell. The family is relying on the kindness and generosity of the community to overcome this tragic situation and provide a dignified send-off for their beloved son.
