Judith Gimbo, a 24-year-old woman from Uganda, has defied tough financial challenges to graduate from Kyambogo University with a Second Class Upper degree in Business Education.
After losing her father, Elieza Bumba, who was the family’s sole provider, Gimbo and her family were left struggling. To support her education, she started selling jackfruits in her local area.
Despite the hardships, she remained focused on her goals. Gimbo balanced school and business, determined not to drop out.
“It wasn’t easy juggling classes and finding school fees,” she said. “But I knew education was the key to a better life.”
Her efforts have finally paid off. Gimbo now hopes to inspire other young people who may be facing similar situations. She also dreams of building a decent home for her family.
Her story is a strong example of how hard work and persistence can lead to success, no matter the challenges.
