Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has called for forgiveness for Phelix Odiwuor, also known as Jalang’o, from the members of parliament from the Azimio la Umoja alliance. At a meeting of the Azimio la Umoja Parliamentary Group in Machakos on Thursday, February 9, Kalonzo emphasized the importance of tolerance and urged the MPs to welcome Jalang’o back.
The former Vice President expressed his intention to speak with Jalang’o after the meeting to address the situation. He expressed sympathy for Jalang’o, who had been asked to leave the Azimio PG by Raila Odinga’s bodyguard and was now facing a hostile environment in his own constituency of Kibra.
Jalang’o, who had been recently kicked out, spoke to the media after the incident and stated that he had no regrets about meeting with President William Ruto at State House. He explained that the meeting was for development issues and that he felt bad about not being able to attend the meeting with Raila Odinga. Despite the recent turn of events, Jalang’o expressed his happiness about his journey with the party and his contributions to it.
