Health challenges can change a person’s life completely. Some problems drain the body, affect confidence, and make everyday living difficult. For Anna, a 27-year-old girl from Jinja, Uganda, this reality was very painful. She suffered from a health condition that caused her to bleed heavily for more than four months without stopping. What began as a simple irregular cycle turned into a nightmare that left her weak, embarrassed, and hopeless.
At first, Anna thought it was just a temporary issue. She believed her monthly cycle had only delayed and would soon return to normal. But weeks passed, then months, and the bleeding continued heavily. She could hardly go to work, socialize, or even move freely in public because of constant fear and discomfort.
