Njogu Wa Njoroge’s former spouse, the singer Mary Lincon, has recently taken on a new role as a pastor following a challenging period where private photos and videos of hers were leaked online.
On May 12, 2024, Lincon was officially ordained as a pastor, solidifying her dedication to her faith in God. Emotions ran high during the ordination ceremony, with Lincon visibly moved to tears while being supported by fellow female preachers.
In a heartfelt post shared on her social media platforms, the mother of three expressed her deep gratitude to the Divine, expressing her joy at the opportunity to serve. She emphasized her commitment to respecting and working alongside her fellow church leaders.
“Dear friends, I, Evangelist Mary Lincon, wish to extend my sincere thanks to all of you for your prayers and support. I am immensely grateful to my spiritual mentor, Dr. Bishop JJ Gitahi, and my father, Rev. Mwangi Zakayo. May God abundantly bless you both,” she conveyed.
The ordination ceremony took place at the Proposed Priesthood Fellowship Church, officiated by Bishop JJ, and was attended by a large congregation of faithful believers.
Addressing the gathered assembly, Lincon affirmed her dedication to her calling and the teachings of the gospel. She pledged to uphold the doctrines of the faith, showing reverence to her seniors and defending the integrity of her church community.
