Akothee’s wedding, which took place on April 10, 2023, at the Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club, was graced by several high-profile individuals. Notable attendees included Ida Odinga, the wife of Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Dorothy Nyong’o, Kisumu’s First Lady, and Lang’ata MP Jalang’o, among others.
However, it was Gender CS Aisha Jumwa who stole the show with her extraordinary gift to Akothee. Jumwa gifted the bride with a necklace made of a thousand shilling notes while they danced together. The notes that comprised the necklace were at least 100, making the necklace worth a minimum of Ksh100,000.
