Comedian Adhis Jojo, a popular personality from Churchill Show, has openly acknowledged her role in accessing funds from her former partner, Collins Jaringa, who resides in Kisumu.
Adhis Jojo candidly confessed to “acquiring” KSh 700,000 from her former lover, Collins Jaringa, and has made it clear that she holds no remorse for her actions.
According to Adhis Jojo, their relationship involved indulgent gestures, such as monetary gifts, presents, and various luxuries that accumulated to a sum of KSh 700,000.
In a phone conversation with Milele FM’s Ankali Ray, Adhis Jojo defended her stance, indicating that Jaringa’s public outcry over the KSh 700,000 and the KSh 170,000-priced iPhone he had bestowed upon her was unwarranted.
Adhis Jojo acknowledged their romantic involvement but disclosed that she had chosen to end the relationship, an action that emotionally affected Jaringa.
The comedian contended that many men have generously invested in their former partners without resorting to public disputes following breakups.
In her own words, Adhis Jojo attributed Jaringa’s reaction to bitterness following their separation and his reluctance to move forward.
Addressing the controversy, Adhis Jojo straightforwardly admitted, “Yes, I utilized the money. How else was I supposed to survive? I did not consume someone else’s funds. When you are in a relationship and someone spends on you, can it really be deemed as exploiting their money? Now, KSh 700,000 and an iPhone worth KSh 170,000 should not lead a Luo man to tears. What significance does KSh 700,000 hold? He should embrace moving on. It was me who decided to end things. I’m the one who calls the shots. If you get dumped, accept it. If he desires to reclaim the funds, he can approach me. Who behaves in such a manner? Who employs online platforms to bemoan money expended on their partners? Men often buy properties worth KSh 3.5 million for their significant others without making a spectacle of it,” as articulated by Adhis Jojo.
Adhis Jojo’s disclosure coincides with recent allegations made by Collins Jaringa via TikTok, in which he accused the comedian of financial deceit.
Through his TikTok video, Jaringa pledged to utilize all means possible to ensure that Adhis Jojo reimburses him for her financial obligations.
Initially, many Kenyans believed that Adhis Jojo and Jaringa were vying for attention through this narrative; however, Jaringa’s confirmation solidified the reality that Adhis Jojo indeed utilized the funds.
