Citizen TV unveils Francis Gachuri replacement on News Gang

Royal Media Services-owned station Citizen TV has announced the replacement of Francis Gachuri on their Thursday segment News Gang with Sam Gituku. The veteran broadcast journalist, well-known for his outstanding ability to break down complex topics and numbers in a way that is easily understandable to the audience, joined the News Gang as the ‘New Gangster’ on April 6th, 2023. He will host a new segment called ‘Sam Sense’ and be part of the News Gang team alongside founding members Linus Kaikai, Jamila Mohamed, and Yvonne Okwara.

Just recently, Royal Media Services also unveiled Mike Njenga and Wangeci wa Muriuki as the duo to replace Francis Gachuri on the Kiririmbi show. Mike and Wangeci will take over the Kiririrmbi Show from Gachuri, who recently parted ways with the media after 17 years to take up a new position as the Director of Communications in the Ministry of Interior.
