Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka is allegedly playing hard toget, going by the disclosures of Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.
Talking yesterday, Mutua shockingly asserted that Kalonzo has demanded Ksh3 billion from President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM pioneer Raila Odinga as a condition for him to join Azimio La Umoja ahead of the August 9 General Election.
Mutua said this at Maanzoni Lodge after holding a meeting with the professional, business community, and other leaders, among them Governors Charity Ngilu (Kitui) and Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni).
They challenged the Wiper chief to join the Azimio La Umoja openly without setting conditions. They promised that no Ukambani leader will wreck their arrangement to support ODM leader Raila Odinga.
“We know that it is not that they are waiting to think first before they join Azimio, but they are waiting for money.
“We already know that they have demanded Sh3 billion,” Mutua said.
The Maendeleo Chap Party Leader said Kalonzo has fostered a tendency of auctioning the Kamba people for his very own advantages.
“I have evidence that earlier years, they also demanded money. They have asked for money several times and they were given,” he added.
Kalonzo has on a few events precluded supporting the ODM pioneer Raila Odinga for the third time saying its about time Raila responded by supporting him.
