Nairobi has been gripped with sorrow following the brutal killing of prominent lawyer Kyalo Mbobu, whose death continues to spark outrage among legal professionals and Kenyans at large.
Mbobu, an advocate of the High Court, was shot dead by a gunman on a motorcycle while driving along Magadi Road in Karen South.
His sudden death left behind his wife, Mwende Kyalo, and their two children.
The Law Society of Kenya, led by its president Faith Odhiambo, has been vocal in demanding justice, holding a moment of silence in his honour and urging the government to speed up investigations.

Meanwhile, government pathologist Johansen Oduor, who conducted Mbobu’s autopsy, confirmed that the lawyer was shot eight times.
Six bullets exited his body, while two remained lodged in his spine, causing fatal damage.
