A Kenyan content creator known as Papa TV has sparked heated debate online after releasing a bold and fiery message directed at former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko. In a video that has since gone viral, Papa TV openly criticized Sonko for allegedly causing chaos at the home where his married daughter lives.
In the strongly–worded tirade, Papa TV accused Sonko of overstepping boundaries and using his influence to intimidate people simply because he is a former governor and a well–known public figure.
“Mikе Sonko kumbafu wewe!” he blasted, expressing his anger without holding back. According to Papa TV, Sonko had no justification for storming into his daughter’s marital home to create drama, claiming that being “Sonko” does not give him the right to disrespect other people’s families.
He went on to say that no one gets beaten or confronted without reason, suggesting that Sonko’s actions were unwarranted and irresponsible.
“Wewe baba mkwe unaenda kuleta fujo penye mtoto wako ameolewa ati sababu wewe ni Sonko. Hakuna mtu anapigwa bure. Umefanya kitu mbaya sana,” Papa TV said.
Papa TV further faulted Sonko for allegedly publicizing the incident online instead of resolving the matter privately.
He concluded his rant by adding that even Sonko’s daughter appeared to have a combative attitude, implying that the incident may have had deeper underlying issues.
The video has ignited intense reactions across social media, with some Kenyans supporting Papa TV for speaking boldly, while others feel he went too far in insulting a public figure. Many have also questioned whether family disputes should ever be dragged to the public domain.
As the debate continues, Sonko is yet to issue an official response to the allegations and the harsh criticism leveled against him.
