The Bishop labeled the creators “noisemakers,” claiming they contributed nothing during the October 2025 fundraiser, which initially raised KSh 2 million.
The preacher stated he has been left to finish the house alone, remarking, “They gave nothing… only vuvuzela and noise.”
He claimed the group’s presence added a “heavy load” rather than providing the financial relief expected for the family.
In response, MC Chris has stepped forward to defend the digital community.
Presenting “receipts” of their involvement, Chris challenged the Bishop’s narrative and questioned why the creators’ efforts were being devalued.
He maintained that TikTokers remained committed to the cause, emphasizing that their contributions were vital to the project’s progress.
The disagreement highlights a growing rift between the church leadership and the online community.
