Kimani Ichung’wah has launched a scathing attack on Anthony Kibagendi, questioning his performance in Parliament and management of constituency affairs.
Speaking amid controversy surrounding Kibagendi’s suspension, Ichung’wah claimed the first-term MP has failed to make meaningful contributions in the National Assembly. He argued that despite serving for two years, Kibagendi has not sponsored a single motion, introduced any bill, or made substantive contributions to parliamentary debates.
According to Ichung’wah, the legislator’s presence in the House has largely been marked by disruptions rather than constructive engagement. He further alleged that reports from the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) paint a worrying picture of how the constituency is being run.
The Majority Leader expressed sympathy for the residents of Kitutu Chache South, describing it as “one of the most mismanaged constituencies in the country” based on the reports he has reviewed.
The sharp remarks highlight deepening political divisions, with leaders trading accusations over performance, accountability, and representation in Parliament.
