Political activist Omosh has delivered a strongly worded warning to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over alleged plans to mobilize protests against President William Ruto’s administration.
In a fiery statement, Omosh cautioned Gachagua against organizing demonstrations, saying any attempts to disrupt businesses or destroy property would be met with resistance.
“Ukijaribu kutoka kuharibu mali yetu, pia sisi tutatokea,” he said, insisting that those who supported the current government must allow it to serve its full term.
Omosh further claimed that the Luo community remains firmly behind President Ruto and would not allow instability. He also criticized what he described as long-standing political tensions between Mt Kenya and other regions, urging leaders to avoid ethnic divisions and confrontational politics.
His remarks have sparked debate online, with some calling for calm and dialogue, while others warn that inflammatory rhetoric could heighten political tensions as the country approaches the 2027 elections.
