Nominated Senator Gladys Wanga has fired a sharp response at former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over his calls for protests.
Addressing the issue, Wanga emphasized that Kenyans, especially the younger generation, are focused on productive work rather than participating in political demonstrations.
“Sisi hatukuji maandamano yenu, Gen Z wako busy kufungua biashara na sisi tunapiga kazi. Nyinyi hamna mpango, agenda wala chochote!” she said.
Her remarks highlight a growing sentiment among some leaders and youth that economic empowerment and entrepreneurship take precedence over street protests, especially as the country edges closer to the 2027 elections.
