City politician Robert Alai Mosiria has addressed ongoing online discussions surrounding Marion Naipei after alleged private videos surfaced on social media.
In a statement, Mosiria explained that he chose to distance himself after learning that Marion Naipei was reportedly part of the same WhatsApp group as controversial content creator Alicia Kanini. He clarified that his decision was not driven by fear of online criticism or trolling, but by his personal values.
“The moment I realized that, just like Alicia Kanini, Marion Naipei was in the same WhatsApp group, I stepped aside — not out of fear or online trolling — but because my values and principles as a Christian do not support individuals involved in adult content,” he stated.
The issue has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporting Mosiria’s stance based on personal beliefs, while others argue that private matters should not define professional or social associations.
The situation continues to generate debate on social media regarding privacy, morality, and public image.
