Collins was sadly stabbed to death by his nephew’s girlfriend after he went to intervene in a fight between the couple
It is alleged that the young girl stabbed him in the neck, and he bled to death before he even reached Jamaa Hospital in Uhuru Estate
According to their neighbours, the couple fought a lot, and the young lady, who was only 17 years old, was also accused of injuring other people
Speaking, the young woman, who looked heartbroken, shared that they were together just a few minutes before he died.
Collins had gone to the home of his nephew, Paul Oloo, who had recently parted ways with his partner, to demand the latter’s clothes when she allegedly stabbed him.
An immediate neighbour shared that the two exchanged bitter words, and she heard the noise in the house. That’s when she went back to check and discovered that Collins was dead.
According to a neighbour, the two had started fighting the previous day, and the lady dragged her lover, Paul Oloo, on the ground up to their house.
Collins intervened after that fight, seeking to remove his nephew from the situation, but it ended in his death.
When he demanded his nephew’s belongings, the lady told Collins to accompany her to the house to get the items. When he followed her, she stabbed him, and after he fell down bleeding, she pushed him into a trench outside her house.
“This is my beloved husband. I was with him until 1 a.m., and he said that he was going to buy some bitings so he could come and pick me up where I was,” said the grieving widow.
“I didn’t know that he was telling me goodbye,” she added.
Reportedly, Oloo, who lives with a disability from a gunshot wound, and his girlfriend used to fight a lot as well.
“The lady has also injured many people in the past, who reported to the police and now have OB numbers,” he said.
After the horrific incident, a crowd almost lynched the woman, but she was saved by the police, and they have her in custody.
