Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has once again stirred debate after addressing Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale’s political ally, Cleophas Malala, over his recent shift in political allegiance.
Speaking during a public event, Sudi expressed disbelief at Malala’s decision to align himself with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s political camp. Sudi noted that he has always considered Malala a close friend, reminding the crowd that they even supported him during his political journey.
According to Sudi, Malala’s political movements have raised questions within Kenya Kwanza about his long‑term intentions and whether his latest position truly reflects the coalition’s broader goals.
Sudi, known for his bold and often humorous political jabs, wondered why Malala would distance himself from the government’s main leadership to lean towards what he described as “Gachagua’s confrontational style of politics.”
While he did not go into details about the reported house project, Sudi’s remarks created excitement among the attendees, with many interpreting his comments as a sign of deeper tensions within the ruling coalition.
Political analysts say Malala’s recent activities have fueled speculation over emerging factions, especially as leaders begin positioning themselves ahead of the 2027 political season.
As the political landscape continues to shift, Kenyans will be watching to see whether the differences within Kenya Kwanza widen or if the leaders will eventually close ranks and move forward with a unified agenda.
