Oscar Sudi lectures Kalonzo-Kalonzo umekuwa kwa serikali miaka 40, hata bila aibu unataka Ruto akutengenezee barabara ya kuenda kijiji yako,

Nominated Senator Oscar Sudi has publicly criticized Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, accusing him of hypocrisy over complaints about infrastructure development in his home area. Speaking sharply, Sudi questioned why Kalonzo, who has spent decades in government, would expect President Ruto to personally intervene in local projects.

Sudi said:

“Kalonzo umekuwa kwa serikali miaka 40, hata bila aibu unataka Ruto akutengenezee barabara ya kuenda kijiji yako, have some shame my brother. Nimeona unalalamika ati tinga zimetoka penye Rais alilaunch barabara, we relax tukutengeneze barabara, na ikiisha pia ukimbie kuambia Wakenya imeisha vile umekimbia huko usiku.”

The senator’s remarks highlight ongoing political tensions between Kalonzo and leaders allied with President Ruto. He accused the veteran politician of rushing to take credit for government projects while criticizing them, describing the behavior as ungrateful and unbecoming for someone of Kalonzo’s experience.

Supporters of Sudi praised his boldness, saying he is holding political elites accountable for double standards. Critics, however, viewed the comments as unnecessarily harsh, potentially fueling intra-political rivalry.

The exchange underscores the increasingly vocal battles among Kenya’s political class, especially around development initiatives and public perception.
