Samidoh, the well-known Mugithi artist, has recently shed light on his decision to seek companionship beyond his marriage, attributing it to the challenging behavior of his wife, Edday Nderitu. He characterizes her as a controlling and verbally abusive spouse, prompting him to find solace in the company of Karen Nyamu, a more composed and understanding city lawyer.
In response, Edday Nderitu took to social media to express her emotional distress and declare her decision to terminate the marriage, pointing to disrespect and manipulation by her husband as the main reasons. She strongly contested Samidoh’s accusations and went on to assert that he was lacking in the intimacy department. Edday reminded him that she had already found love with someone who knows how to treat a woman.
In a sharp counterattack, Edday addressed Samidoh’s implications regarding her fertility and questioned his capabilities as a partner. She stressed that she endured the challenges in the marriage, but Samidoh failed to recognize her value. Edday also conveyed her unwillingness to raise her children in a polygamous environment, issuing a stern warning to Samidoh about her lack of tolerance for such arrangements.
