Police in Kiambu County have launched investigations following the mysterious death of a middle-aged man who was discovered lifeless inside his car at a petrol station in Ruaka on Monday night.
According to witnesses, the man had earlier driven a black Honda bearing registration number KC 77** to the Total Energies petrol station mid-morning, where it remained parked for hours without movement.
By around 9:20 PM, members of the public grew suspicious after noticing that the car was still parked in the same spot with the driver appearing motionless.
Police Called to the Scene
Officers from Gigiri Police Station responded to the alert and, upon inspection, confirmed that the man had died inside the vehicle. The scene was immediately secured as investigations began.
Family Informed, Cause of Death Under Investigation
Police said the deceased’s family has been notified, and the body moved to the mortuary for a post-mortem examination to establish the cause of death. Detectives are probing whether the incident was due to natural causes, health complications, or possible foul play.
