36-year-old man lynched by irrate mob in Othaya.Residents of Gakware Village, Othaya-Nyeri County last night lynched a man after he allegedly attacked his two sisters few hours after the burial of their father.Under the influence of alcohol, it is reported that the man attacked his sisters who screamed for help attracting the nearby residents.
The angry residents chased the suspect across Karima forest where they caught up with him, lynching him and later torched down his house.The two sisters were rushed to Othaya Hospital with serious injuries.The man’s body was moved to Mukurwe-ini Funeral home with the family set to plan another burial for the man.
