Makueni Tycoon Dennis Kasyoki dies in a tragic Car accident Container falls on his Vehicle

A man died and another was injured after a grisly road accident along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway in Machakos County early Sunday morning.

Police confirmed that the deceased, Dennis Kasyoki, was driving a Ford Ranger when it collided with a trailer at Primarosa area in Athi River subcounty shortly after midnight on September 22, 2025.

How the Fatal Crash Happened

According to a report filed at Athi River Police Station, both the Ford Ranger and the trailer — a Mercedes Actros ferrying a container of second-hand shoes from Mombasa to Congo — were headed towards Nairobi at the time of the accident.

The impact caused both vehicles to lose control and veer off the road. The container being carried by the trailer toppled over and landed on the Ford Ranger, killing the driver instantly.
