A middle-aged man has come forward with a bold claim that he is the biological father of Mumias East MP Peter Salasya. Speaking candidly, the man admitted to having lived a reckless lifestyle in his younger years, which he says may have led to losing contact with his alleged son.
“Shida yangu ilikuwa kuhanya sana, lakini Salasia ni mtoto wangu. Akubali tu tufanye DNA ndio haamini. Hata Obama alikuwa mtoto wa kando na akawa President,” he stated, insisting that he is ready for a paternity test to prove his claim.
The man says his greatest desire is to meet the legislator in person and mend their strained relationship. He argues that, regardless of the circumstances of his birth, Salasya has risen to prominence just like former US President Barack Obama, who was also born out of wedlock.
While MP Salasya has yet to publicly respond to the claims, the story has sparked mixed reactions online, with some urging a DNA test to settle the matter once and for all. Others have questioned the timing and motive behind the sudden declaration.
The alleged father maintains he has no hidden agenda, only a wish to reconnect with the son he says he lost many years ago.
