An inside plan by President William Ruto has been leaked that will see him scatter the opposition by snatching top figures from the outfit and draw them to his side ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the masterstroke plan, Ruto is targeting top tier figures in the opposition coalition, a plan, that if materialize, will leave the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua exposed badly.
The grand plan entails bringing on board the Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, former Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Government Coordination Dr Fred Matiang’i and Trans Nzoia County Governor George Natembeya.
This has been leaked with Nation Media Group’s Swahili newspaper Taifa Leo. The Head of State revealed this plan to his allies in a meeting at State House last week.
Ruto’s allies raised concerns that his administration will be defeated in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
