Powerful Kenya Kwanza Principal Set To Quit Just a Week After The Polls

After months of heightened political activities in the country, Kenyans are finally set to learn who will form the next government. President-Elect William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza group will learn their fate in the next few days as the Supreme Court receives and determines an election petition challenging their win.

Despite the ongoing concerns, Ruto and his team have continued to make plans on how they will be running the next government.

A report by a local daily has now revealed that the Deputy President has been arranging his house as he looks to hit the ground running immediately after he is declared the winner.

The Kenya Kwanza team has reportedly settled on Moses Wetangula as the speaker of the national assembly. The Bungoma Senator is now set to resign in the next few days to take up the speaker role.

This will mean that residents of Bungoma will be required to elect a new senator through a by-election.
