Kenyan actress Jackie Matubia recently opened up about her relationships with the fathers of her children, revealing that she maintains contact only with Captain Kennedy Njogu, the father of her first child.
In an interview with Trudy Kitui, Matubia shared that she has decided to limit communication with Blessing Lung’aho, the father of her second child, stating that they no longer converse.
Addressing the challenges single mothers face, Matubia offered words of encouragement, emphasizing that being a single mother does not diminish one’s value.
She urged single mothers to reject societal stigma and recognize their inherent strength and worth.
Matubia stressed the importance of challenging societal norms and embracing single motherhood, highlighting the stability and dignity it entails.
Regarding her interactions with Lung’aho, Matubia humorously compared their communication to talking to a wall, suggesting a lack of response or engagement.
“I only talk to the father of my first child. Yes. You know when you talk to a wall, it actually answers, right? I rest my case,” Matubia remarked.
When asked about her dating life and thoughts on marriage, Matubia stated that her daughters are her priority at the moment.
“Marriage and relationships are hard. I’m not dating right now. I’m a proud single mother of two beautiful girls, and I’m proud of it,” Matubia affirmed.
Jackie and Blessing began dating in April 2022, marking a significant milestone in their relationship. However, their once-promising partnership eventually deteriorated.
Jackie confirmed that she and Blessing are no longer together and proudly announced that she is a mother of two children.
