KRG The Don Gives Stevo Simple Boy Ksh. 5K, End Their Beef

Kenyan musician Karuga Kimani, also known as KRG The Don, generously gifted rapper Stephen Otieno, famously known as Stevo Simple Boy, with a sum of Ksh. 5,000 during a recent encounter.

During their meeting, KRG The Don expressed his delight in meeting Stevo Simple Boy and presented him with the monetary gift. He clarified that their interaction was cordial and that any perceived tension between them was merely a result of public speculation seeking to create discord.

“I finally had the chance to meet Stivo Simple Boy, and it turns out you all wanted me to confront him unnecessarily! He’s a respectful artist! From this moment forward, we’re allies, and I urge you all to support his journey until he achieves stability,” KRG The Don stated.

This gesture follows previous online disagreements between the two artists, during which Stevo Simple Boy asserted his musical prowess over KRG The Don. The situation escalated when KRG referred to Stevo using derogatory language, causing distress to the “Mihadarati” hitmaker.

Stevo Simple Boy hails from Homabay County but relocated to Nairobi early in life. His musical journey began in 2007, although he commenced recording in 2015.

In 2019, Stevo gained widespread recognition with the release of his track “Mihadarati,” which shed light on the perils of substance abuse among young people. The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) acknowledged his efforts by appointing him as their brand ambassador the same year. Since then, Stevo Simple Boy has continued to produce albums that resonate well with society.
