Azimio presidential candidate, Raila Odinga is the most preffered candidate for the county’s top seat according to the latest polls by Trend For Insights Africa (TIFA).
The polls stated that Odinga is the most popular candidate in the South Rift, a region considered as Ruto’s bedroom.
According to the polls released by Tom Wolf, Raila leads with 45% while Ruto follows with 33% in the South Rift.
Previously, Ruto had 66% in the same region where he lead with 63% support with Raila garnering 20%.
Currently, Raila rates at 50% in the Coastal region with Ruto gaining 25% support.In Mt Kenya Region, Ruto enjoys a lead of 53% with Raila coming second with 24%.
In Nairobi, the ODM Party leader enjoys a clean 58% support while Ruto has 38%.
In Nyanza, Raila’s bedroom, the Azimio candidate enjoys a cool 68% with Ruto gaining 13%.
The Deputy President has however dismissed the polls saying that Only Kenyans will decide come August 9th.
