Joy Mdivo, a political expert, has stated that Ruto’s selection of Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate was like winning the lottery. According to Mdivo, Gachagua is a well-known force in the Mt. Kenya region block, whereas Azimio has yet to recognize his potential.
Joy predicts that Gachagua has the ability to deliver votes from the Mount Kenya region to William Ruto rather than Martha Karua. According to her, Karua is not as close to people as Gachagua, who is also very close to ordinary citizens and speaks their language.
Mdivo is confident that William Ruto made the correct decision in selecting Gachagua as his running mate, as it is evident that he hails from a large community. She is certain that once the polls begin, Kenyans will recognize Gachagua’s potential and strength.
Currently, it is evident that Rigathi Gachagua is traversing all of the country’s counties, particularly the Mt. Kenya area block, in an effort to deliver votes.
