One of Kenya’s most famous and celebrated musicians, Stevo Simple Boy, recently revealed some lesser-known facts about himself.
In a rapid-fire session with SPM Buzz, Stevo shared that his full name is Steven Adera, and he hails from Oyugis in Siaya County. He was born and raised in this region but moved to Nairobi while he was in the seventh grade. He completed his primary education (KCPE) in one of the city’s schools.
After finishing class eight, Stevo dropped out of school and began hustling while nurturing his musical talent, which eventually led to his breakthrough in 2019.
At 33 years old, Stevo Simple Boy still dreams of achieving something remarkable. Despite scoring 240 marks out of 500 in KCPE, a score that was almost average, he harbored aspirations of becoming a doctor. Although he was a slow learner, he managed to achieve this score.
His dream of becoming a doctor remains alive. At 33, Stevo still has the opportunity to return to school, study for about two years, complete his secondary education (KCSE), and eventually join medical school. With focus, dedication, and hard work, this dream is still within his reach
