Wangeci wa Kariuki,Talks on her first date that led to Marriage ,Love At first Sight

former Kameme TV breakfast show presenter Wangeci wa Kariuki shared a remarkable love story about how she got married on her first date. She recounted that after visiting her future husband’s house, he locked the door, not allowing her to leave, and that was just the beginning of their love story.

A mother of four, Wangeci recalls that she got married just five days after completing her final exams in high school. Today, she is thriving in her career and serves as a role model to many, becoming a household name for Kameme TV viewers.

Reflecting on her past, Wangeci mentioned that she met her husband when she was in form three, although she had initially told him she was in form four. After completing her KCSE, he traveled to Nyahururu to pick her up from school, but she wasn’t there. The two lost touch for a while until they reconnected through a mutual friend.

By the time they reconnected, Wangeci had finished high school. She revealed that on her first date after completing form four, she visited his house, where he locked the door, sealing their future together. This happened just five days after her final exam.

In addition to her career in TV, Wangeci once worked for the Keroche family. Despite her admiration for Keroche CEO Tabitha Karanja, whom she describes as tough and inspiring, she chose to pursue her passion for television. “I have always wanted to be an anchor,” she said.

Wangeci also opened up about facing criticism from online communities, especially regarding her choice of attire. She mentioned that losing her mother in form two deeply impacted her, making her resilient to cyberbullying. She is now teaching her children how to handle bullies.

Wangeci’s greatest fears are God and poverty. She is committed to working hard and praying for her children’s future, ensuring they do not grow up in poverty.

Her advice to aspiring wives is to find a man who supports their dreams. “A good husband is one who gives a woman space to grow and supports her ambitions,” she said.
