Viral Gengetone Artist Ngesh Gifted Ksh 20K, a Recording Deal and a Makeover

The past few days have seen Gengetone artist Ngesh, also known as bad Gal wa Vasha, gaining significant attention as her songs go viral. This 22-year-old artist has captivated Kenyans on social media with her hilarious and catchy lyrics.

Ngesh’s songs showcase her creativity in crafting humorous and rhyming lyrics. Some examples include “Kuwa na utambi hiyo sio dhambi” (having swagger is not a sin), “Angalia kisogo inakaa ya jogoo” (look at the back of my head, it resembles a rooster), “Cash crop ya nyandarua ni Mawaru” (the cash crop of Nyandarua is marijuana), and “kuku hana haga lakini anataga” (a chicken doesn’t have teeth, but it lays eggs).

In an interview with 2Mbili Tv, Ngesh revealed that she hails from Nakuru county and is the fourth-born among four siblings. Growing up, Ngesh and her three brothers formed a music group called ‘Spider Clan’ earlier this year. They collaborate on creating music and shooting videos.

Since arriving in Nairobi, Ngesh has been warmly welcomed and has received incredible opportunities from Kenyans who admire her talent and confidence. Notably, Kenyan businessman Kiddo gifted her Ksh 20,000 and offered to sponsor her upcoming project, including audio and video production. Additionally, Ngesh received a complimentary hair makeover from Ezmohaircentre.

Fans eagerly await Ngesh’s next project and the possibility of collaborations with prominent Kenyan artists.
