The former captain of the Harambee Stars expressed his disappointment towards supporters who shared a photoshopped image on Twitter, depicting Bahati’s eldest child, Morgan, bearing a resemblance to him. Victor Wanyama, visibly angered by the circulating image, took to his Twitter account to share the altered picture and cautioned his followers against drawing unwarranted conclusions. Some comments on the post suggested that he should simply ignore the image to avoid further public attention.
Notably, other prominent figures like KRG The Don and Abel Mutua, who were also depicted in the manipulated image, found themselves unwittingly embroiled in what is perceived as cyberbullying targeting Bahati’s family. False claims insinuated that they could be the fathers of Bahati’s children.
Victor Wanyama, in a tweet, vehemently denounced the dissemination of such content, calling for an end to the ignorance and insensitivity surrounding the issue.
Given his close relationship with the family, Wanyama is keen to prevent any unnecessary discord. He has consistently refuted all rumors linking him romantically or paternally to Bahati’s family, even in instances where old photographs featuring them together surfaced. Despite the resemblance some may perceive in unrelated individuals, Wanyama remains steadfast in his support for the family and in his efforts to quash baseless speculations.
