Popular Mugithi maestro, Waithaka Wajane has been thrown into mourning following the death of his mentor, SK Kamau.
The ‘Karaiku‘ hit make taking to his Facebook page broke the news in a sad post which saw his fans troup to his page with messages of condolences.
In the post, Waithaka said;
It’s a sad Saturday morning for me to inform you the demise of my dad and my mentor in music SK Kimani.”
Adding;
“Lets be together with the family in this sad moments
Rest in peace Daddy.”
Notably, Waithaka came into the limelight after his song ‘Kiraiku’ which was originally composed by SK made massive waves all around the country and more so in the larger Mt. Kenya Region.

“Kiraiku, Mwendwa Julia, Lucy, Niwendete raha among others.
