A wave of shock and speculation has gripped the country following the cold-blooded murder of prominent lawyer and scholar Mathew Kyalo Mbobu.

The timing of the video and Mbobu’s killing has fueled speculation among Kenyans, with many questioning whether the two events are linked.
Detectives from the DCI have since confirmed recovering key evidence from the Magadi Road crime scene but did not clarify if Muigai’s revelations form part of their investigation.
The Judiciary, responding cautiously, noted that most of the judges mentioned in Muigai’s claims had either retired or died. They also pointed out that the long-running dispute had been determined in court, but Muigai kept filing fresh cases.
Mbobu’s death has left the legal fraternity in mourning. Colleagues hailed him as a fearless advocate who never shied away from tough cases. His grieving family is now demanding justice, while Kenyans online continue to draw connections between the viral video and his brutal killing.. .. Keep reading
