Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen remains at the heart of intense transfer rumors as the summer transfer window approaches its end.
The Napoli striker has reportedly issued an ultimatum to Premier League club Chelsea, expressing his strong desire to join the West London side.
Throughout the summer, Osimhen has been linked with several top clubs, including Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Saudi Pro League team Al Ahli.
As the transfer deadline draws near, Chelsea and Al Ahli have emerged as the leading contenders for his signature.
Osimhen is reportedly eager to leave Napoli, especially after Romelu Lukaku’s arrival. Transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri reports that the 25-year-old striker has made a move to Chelsea his priority, provided they can reach an agreement on personal terms within the next 24 hours.
If negotiations with Chelsea fall through, Osimhen is ready to consider Al-Ahli’s lucrative €120 million wage offer over four years.
Currently excluded from Napoli’s first-team plans, Osimhen is expected to leave the Italian Serie A club in the coming days. Since joining Napoli in the summer of 2020, the Nigerian international has scored over 85 goals during his four-year tenure with the Partenopei.
