President Ruto Mourns Coast Musician Ally B

President William Ruto has extended his condolences to the family of the late iconic musician, Ally B, who passed away following a battle with an illness.

The mellifluous singer’s life came to an end at Makadara Hospital in Mombasa, where he was taken after complaining of not feeling well.

On the fateful day, Ally B had been going about his daily errands in Kilifi before his untimely departure.

It has been reported that Ally B succumbed to complications related to high blood pressure, as stated by individuals close to the artist.

Following the tragic news, fans, fellow musicians, and friends took to social media to mourn his passing and offer their condolences.

Renowned Benga singer Suzanna Owiyo expressed her shock and sorrow on Twitter, saying, “Oh Nooooo…This is the most heartbreaking news I’ve heard today. Ally B is no longer with us… Rest in peace, power…”

Coast-based musical duo CSM Wazito shared their grief, saying, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our big brother, Ally B Khamisi. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Bro, rest in peace.”

In 2017, Ally B, whose real name was Ali Khamisi Mwaliguli, ran for the position of Member of the County Assembly in Junda Ward, Kisauni, Mombasa County, as a candidate of the Jubilee Party.
