Controversial gospel singer, Ringtone Apoko, recently spoke out about Akothee’s royal wedding that took over social media this past week.
In an interview with YouTuber Mboya, the “Sisi Ndio Tuko” hit-maker revealed that he was not invited to the wedding, even though he was eager and prepared to attend the big day.
“Akothee didn’t invite me to the wedding. And if she did, I didn’t receive the message,” he expressed.
Apoko went on to disclose that he has had a crush on Akothee for some time and even had plans of marrying her, believing she would have been the perfect wife.
“I love Akothee so much. I had intentions to marry her, but she chose to marry Omosh.”
When asked what he admired about Akothee, he praised her for being a good woman who isn’t concerned about materialistic things but rather focuses on spirituality. He thought she would be a stable and supportive wife.
Ringtone Apoko also shared his thoughts on Akothee’s relationship with her husband Omosh. According to him, it was Akothee who married Omosh and not the other way around.
“Akothee can’t be the one getting married, she’s the one who married Omosh,” he humorously remarked.
Ringtone playfully predicted that Akothee would be the one calling the shots in their marriage, joking that Omosh might even end up doing the dishes, and if he objects, he’ll receive a playful punishment.
As a gesture of goodwill, the singer presented the couple with a generous gift of Ksh. 999K in the form of a cheque.
Akothee and Omosh’s wedding took place on Monday and was a vibrant celebration attended by various prominent politicians and celebrities.
