Political commentator Omosh has stirred online debate after making bold remarks directed at the Kikuyu community regarding Kenya’s future political leadership.
In a viral statement, Omosh claimed that members of the Kikuyu community should prepare for a long period in the opposition, alleging that they may not return to power for the next 100 years. He further argued that the political resistance seen against President William Ruto is not necessarily about his leadership, but rather about certain communities opposing the inclusion of Luo leaders in government.
According to Omosh, President Ruto is expected to serve until 2032 and could potentially hand over leadership to Oburu Odinga afterward — a claim that has triggered mixed reactions online.
The remarks have sparked heated discussions on social media, with some Kenyans criticizing the comments as divisive, while others see them as part of the ongoing political rivalry shaping the country’s future.
