Former Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha has stirred controversy after making sharp remarks directed at Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya.
Speaking at a public event, Nakhumicha claimed she had heard that Natembeya had allegedly mobilised youths to embarrass her. She responded defiantly, saying she was not afraid and adding a provocative statement implying that whatever they expected to see would be no different from what Natembeya sees at home.
Her comments quickly attracted mixed reactions online, with some supporters defending her boldness while others criticised the tone of the exchange as inappropriate for leaders.
The incident adds to the ongoing political tensions between leaders from different camps, as rivalry and sharp rhetoric continue to dominate public engagements. Analysts note that such confrontations reflect the increasingly heated political climate as leaders position themselves ahead of future contests.
