Months after Kihenjo’s departure from Kameme FM, he is set to return to the airwaves alongside renowned Kikuyu radio presenter Wakarindi wa Ndithi at Muoroto FM. Together, they will host the midday show called “Kenga Kenga,” which will run from 10AM to 1PM on this vernacular radio station.
Kihenjo’s new opportunity arises amidst the curiosity of his followers, who have been questioning why he left the vernacular radio station owned by Mediamax. Previously, he co-hosted the mid-morning show called “Canjamuka” with Muthoni wa Kirumba, also known as Babytop.
Furthermore, esteemed media personality Njogu wa Njoroge will be joining Muoroto FM. He will be hosting the early morning show titled “Ndama Njeru” alongside Henry Kissinger, from 6AM to 10AM. Njogu wa Njoroge is renowned for his expertise in the media industry, having previously worked with Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, Media Max, and Kayu FM.
Additionally, Njogu wa Njoroge serves as the chairperson of the Kenya Films Classifications Board, a position he obtained following his appointment by CS Ababu Namwamba. In the 2022 general elections, he contested for the UDA ticket for the Njoro constituency parliamentary seat but unfortunately lost to the incumbent, Charity Kathambi.
