The DCI sleuths based in Nakuru have arrested a man who posed as a magistrate.The fake magistrate who was running his own court was arrested on Saturday, October 9.
He is also accused of posing as a brother to Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Charles Keter.
The reports were confirmed by Nakuru DCI boss Anthony Suguti who said that the the man was arrested in a joint operation with detectives based in the Rift Valley.
“Our officers arrested the suspect who has been on the run after duping unsuspecting members of the public by posing as a magistrate,” stated Sunguti.
A resident who came out said that the imposter conned him Ksh 1.6 million while posing as CS Keters brother is with fake job promises.
He was also allegedly conned Ksh 100,000 after he was promised that a case he had filed at Nakuru Law Court would be solved faster and favour him.
