My name is John and I live in Mukono, Uganda. I worked in Saudi Arabia for several years, saving every penny because I wanted to build a home for my wife and our future. I sent money from abroad to Kampala so that she could start building our dream house while I was away. I trusted her. I left everything behind, believing in our plans and in our love. I believed that the sacrifices I made would build a safe and happy future for both of us. But when I returned, I found something I could never have imagined.

I entered and discovered my wife living with another man – an askari at a nearby compound. The house I had built with my sweat and money was being shared by them. I was shocked, devastated, and felt betrayed. I asked her how this could happen; she looked at me with shame but said she had no strength to refuse him when he lured her into that living arrangement. The pain was unbearable. I felt powerless, stripped of dignity, and uncertain what to do. I loved my wife, I loved our home, but the trust was broken.TO READ MORE,TAP HERE
