On January 20th, 2024, Michael, a young man from Mathare who worked in Mjengo to earn a living, was tragically killed by thugs while escorting his young son to school.
The incident occurred early in the morning. According to witnesses, it was revealed that Michael lost his life in front of his son, who was powerless to intervene. The boy could do nothing but cry out in despair as he watched the horrific scene unfold.
