“Hawa watafanya hii Harusi ama ni story za jaba tu?, Bahati & Diana Marua Postpone Wedding, Promise New Date Soon

Kenyan artists Bahati Kioko and Diana Marua recently made an announcement regarding the postponement of their anticipated wedding, initially slated for December 12th. Taking to their respective Instagram pages following their attendance as guests at a friend’s wedding, the couple shared a joint message explaining the change in plans.

The duo conveyed that December 12th was initially earmarked as their special day, but “due to unavoidable circumstances,” they found it necessary to reschedule. Assuring their followers, they pledged to unveil the new wedding date shortly.

In a post, Bahati lamented, “Today was supposed to be our wedding day but… Congratulations to our friends @Directorritchie and @RenaSolomon. We are happy to be part of your celebration and are taking notes for our own big day! New Wedding Dates Coming Soon…”

However, the couple’s playful antics during their friend’s wedding led to a degree of confusion among fans. Photos and videos circulating from the event depicted Bahati and Diana at the forefront of the procession, leisurely strolling as though they were the bride and groom. Diana, adorned with flowers and a white shawl, and Bahati, dressed in a suit, further fueled the misconception that they were the ones tying the knot.

This playful performance left some fans puzzled, as they mistook the staged act for the actual wedding ceremony of Bahati and Diana.
