General Muhoozi warns Kenyans and the world-I’m going to say this only once. Any foreign powers who attempt to smuggle Bobi Wine outside the country are going to create a serious RUPTURE in relations! Especially Kenyans citizens

Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has stirred controversy after issuing a strong warning regarding opposition figure Bobi Wine.

In remarks shared publicly, Muhoozi cautioned that any foreign actors attempting to “smuggle” Bobi Wine out of Uganda would risk causing a serious diplomatic rift. He specifically warned that foreign interference in Uganda’s internal affairs could damage relations with other countries.

The General also criticized what he described as external involvement in Uganda’s political matters, saying such actions would not be tolerated.

His statements have triggered widespread reactions across the region, particularly in Kenya, where social media users have debated the tone and implications of the remarks. Analysts say such strong language from a senior military official could raise diplomatic concerns and further heighten political tensions in East Africa.

Bobi Wine, a long-time opposition leader in Uganda, has previously faced arrests and political restrictions, drawing attention from international human rights organizations.

Observers note that statements involving cross-border warnings and political figures are highly sensitive and could influence diplomatic and security relationships within the region.
